At Sønderborg Sports Folk High School we have a long-standing collaboration with the diving center, Kingfish..

Two of our teachers are trained diving instructors and make sure that the course is organized. Kingfish conducts the course.

We use our own swimming pool and classrooms and drive no more than an hour away to get into the open sea.

The course gives you a PADI Open Water certificate which allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters. 

Your PADI Open Water certificate is accepted all over the world and opens the door to a lifetime of adventures.

If you already have a PADI Open Water certificate, you can upgrade to PADI Advanced Open Water.

However, there must be 4 or more students enrolled to make it possible for us to establish the course.

On our trips to Crete and Tanzania/Zanzibar, you have the opportunity to use your new skills.

In Crete, we might dive in some big beautiful cave-like underwater mountains where the light is quite adventurous.

In Zanzibar, we’ll try the marine national park at Mnemba Atoll to see turtles, dolphins and the variety of beautiful corals.
