In this part of our subjects, our focus is set on the democratic education. We debate and put important subjects which has influence on all of us into perspective.
The subjects will challenge your perception of your self-image and your surroundings.
At IHS we make an effort to focus on topics and issues which are contemporary.
The classes are available at different times a year – see more detailed descriptions, under each class.

Our advanced management Academy is a process for students, who decides to stay for another semester.
Why Management Academy?
All humans have a leader in their guts, weather your ambition could be being in charge of a group of employees and an exciting company. Maybe project management is one of your passions or you would like to be a coach in your local community sports club.
Having and taking responsibility while achieving meaningful values is a goal for a lot of people – especially young people with ambition and big appetite on life.
At the academy we will focus on different groups of people, their level of perception, how they are motivated – as to how you handle stress and still stay calm, while you see your "Game-plan" doesn't work out as you expected.
An essential part of your leader skills, will be practiced and improved, while you are setting the guidelines and schedule for a group of people.
There will always be a competent teacher at sight to support you with feedback and supervision – every time with one goal only – to make sure you learn.
To be your own leader
To be able to guide yourself in the right direction, often is a great basic desire.
It takes a lot of self-awareness – to be your own string holder. At the Academy we will make you wiser using different tools, it's a part of your personal culture, theory, practice and self-awareness put in comparison.
Tools we tend to use are behavior profiling, team dynamics, Joharis window, the life wheel and much more...
You will learn about coaching and how coaching can affect and create personal knowledge about the person, you are “sitting next to” and thereby use their full potential
