In our class Tons, you will try out many different contact sports, where the common denominator is Tons. It's all about high intensity, craziness, sore muscles, mud and bruises.
We will work on our “tonser”-mentality, only laughter will be, what's left for pain. You will learn to ignore fatigue and work against your body's natural signs to let you know, it's time to stop. If you don't see yourself as a “tonser”, you will get a chance in this class to get more tough, get out of your comfort zone, everybody can learn how to "tonse".
One of our talking points will be, why we as a nation accept sports as boxing and American football, which are the cause of many serious injuries every year.
Aggression, venture and craziness is a virtue in many sports, but not in the rest of the society. There must be a reason, why we find it entertaining to see other people get beat up. In continuation, we will discuss the concept “fight for fun”. When is it fun to fight?
